Welcome to my family history blog. Finding more about my family's history is very rewarding as well as being interesting and educational.
I created this blog to share my thoughts, experiences, tips and resources in my search for my ancestors' history and maybe, help you in your research as well. I am particularly interested in the history of Upper Canada and the Loyalist period in history.

  1. Earline, How terribly sad. I fear those types of accidents happened way too often. But the poor darling baby, what a death. I am wondering if May was your mother? If so, I only hope she never remembered it, and was able to deal with it in later life.

  2. No, Barbara, she is my only living paternal aunt. I don't think she remembered, she was too young, which is a blessing.

  4. Nice work. I came across your blog while “blog surfing” using the Next Blog button on the blue Nav Bar located at the top of my blogger.com site. I frequently just travel around looking for other blogs which exist on the Internet, and the various, creative ways in which people express themselves. Thanks for sharing.
