Welcome to my family history blog. Finding more about my family's history is very rewarding as well as being interesting and educational.
I created this blog to share my thoughts, experiences, tips and resources in my search for my ancestors' history and maybe, help you in your research as well. I am particularly interested in the history of Upper Canada and the Loyalist period in history.

Mobile Monday: PhotoNote

My husband and I have already exchanged our gifts this year, Blackberry Torches. We were considering IPhones but if I have a choice, I like to buy Canadian brands. Being from Southwest Ontario, I like the idea of boosting the local economy and since Research In Motion, creator of the Blackberry, is in London, Ontario it was an easy decision.

There aren't as many apps availale for the Blackberry as the IPhone, but there are some good apps. One app. that I bought I'm using now to create this post, it's PhotoNote. I love this app., it is great for mobile blogging as well as adding information to photos such as gravestones, landmarks, houses for further references at home; transcriptions, location etc. PhotoNote is searchable as well. Did I mention that with PhotoNote I can post photos to Twitter as well?
